    skydiving

Will Smith was right – skydiving is one interesting confrontation with fear. Your whole survival depends on one thing and that is the parachute opening. Just the thought of this infallible fact runs through your head the night before the jump and all the way until the shoot opens. Watch the video below because Will says it way better than I could ever type. I will just write these points from his talk:

    1. When you up flying in the air, you realise that the point of maximum danger is the point of minimum fear. It’s bliss!
    2. Why were you scared in your bed the night before? What do you need that fear for? Why are you scared in your bed 16 hours before you jump? Why are you scared in the car? Why could you not enjoy breakfast? What did you need that for? Fear of what? You are no where near the aeroplane. Everything up to the stepping out of the plane, there’s actually no reason to be scared. It only just ruins your day… And then in that moment when you should be terrified, is the most blissful experience of your life. God placed the best things in life on the other side of terror or maximum fear.
